Abstract

This study aims to reflect on the importance of the process of recruiting and selecting people within the job market. It aims to highlight the importance of choosing candidates who fit the company's profile, so that the results obtained are positive and satisfactory. Based on the theory of several authors such as; Tabajara (2016), B. I. (2010), Machado (2016), Carvalho (2008), Setin, Bertoli, Fernandes and Saito (2018) who deal with this topic, through a bibliographic methodology, the study allowed us to understand the way in which the The role played in the process of recruiting and selecting candidates directly interferes with the proper functioning of the company. Throughout the article, themes relating to these processes were addressed, such as how they can and should occur, as well as the results that can be achieved through them.
