The beach is one of the main leisure spaces, however, there are few that allow full circulation for people with disabilities. This lack of mobility represents an obstacle to socialization and violates the right to leisure of these individuals provided for in the Federal Constitution. Given this aspect, this study aims to propose basic premises fundamental to the success of accessible beach projects, aiming to eliminate barriers to meeting the needs of people with disabilities who use wheelchairs. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical research was carried out and the premises were addressed based on Law No. 8781/2022, of the State of Alagoas, and the ABNT NBR 9050:2020 standard. Finally, this study suggested minimum adaptations, considered essential for people with disabilities to enjoy the beaches, including access routes, parking, toilets and signage, with the objective of this study being achieved.
