This paper addresses the topic of Hydrocephalus, with a focus on Early Treatment in Children, recognizing that this condition is more common in children and the elderly. Hydrocephalus is characterized by the accumulation of fluid in the internal cavities of the brain. A central issue investigated is the identification of factors that may contribute to the development of this disease. The general objective of the literature review is to demonstrate the importance of early treatment of Hydrocephalus in preventing complications in childhood development. The method used involves an analysis of articles and academic papers related to Hydrocephalus. The results revealed different types of treatments available, with surgery being the most effective procedure over the years, aiming to eliminate symptoms and significantly reduce the recurrence rate. However, it is important to note that the general objective does not directly address the issue of factors in the development of Hydrocephalus, which may require a reformulation of objectives or a more specific approach to investigate these factors.
