In a globalized society, the importance of innovation has become a fundamental aspect of everyday business operations. There is an urgent need to strive for organizational success, and innovations enrich the transformations in production processes and product models, with socio-economic impacts in specific areas. In this context, the research focuses on enterprises related to the Cocoa Technology Vocational Center (CVT) and, consequently, on businesses in the southern region of Bahia. Therefore, the objective of this research is to assess aspects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, and chocolate production. The findings indicate the necessity for this new movement in the cocoa/chocolate market to meet the required quality management standards. This entails adopting a systemic approach, aiming to introduce products that cater to demanding and distinct markets, which are often not highly susceptible to economies of scale. Furthermore, the research underscores the importance of strengthening new associative models of organization and management as part of this innovative landscape.
