Abstract

This scientific article aims to analyze crimes (victimization and homicide) committed against Military Police officers in the State of São Paulo. The characteristics of these homicides, such as location, motivations, and weapons used, will be examined. Additionally, risk factors contributing to their occurrence will be identified through a literature review and analysis of data from official sources, including police reports, government statistics and information disclosed by the press. Understanding these factors is crucial for the development of effective strategies for prevention and protection of these professionals.
