In this article, we present an ongoing research project that combines environmental education and design thinking with the aim of creating a sustainability communication campaign, titled "ESG IN TVET with the IFG Sustainable Seal - 10 years." Our goal is to contribute to making the school more sustainable. The study involves the analysis of reading experiences, project development, and dissertation writing, as well as the challenges faced so far. The research will be conducted using the active methodology of Design Thinking (DT) with students in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), specifically those who are recipients of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID) affiliated with the Research and Studies Center in Teacher Training and Environmental Education (NUPEDEA) at the Federal Institute of Goiás - Anápolis Campus. After analyzing the collected data and integrating concepts related to education, design, and sustainability, we will create a collaborative educational product, namely, the communication campaign. This work is based on a critical review of the literature, aiming to establish meaningful connections among these interconnected concepts, with the objective of enriching the discourse on contemporary education and its practical implications.
