The abstract addresses the minimally invasive techniques in gastric cancer surgery, focusing on the comparative analysis of results. Minimally invasive surgery has gained prominence as an alternative to the traditional open approach. This study investigates clinical and functional outcomes, postoperative complications, survival and recurrence, quality of life and evolution of techniques used in gastric cancer surgery. The research includes a comprehensive literature review that compares the results between minimally invasive techniques and conventional approaches, considering different clinical and quality of life outcomes. The analysis of results compares postoperative outcomes, survival and recurrence rates, in addition to assessing the patients' quality of life. In addition, the study addresses the challenges faced by health professionals when adopting minimally invasive techniques. The systematic review of the literature provides an in-depth understanding of the results achieved through minimally invasive techniques in gastric cancer surgery, allowing the assessment of the advantages and limitations of these approaches compared to conventional open surgery.
