Abstract

This article deals with affectivity in the teacher-student relationship. Does affectivity interfere with the learning process? This study aims to clarify some questions related to this subject.  We observe that, currently, this relationship established between teacher and student can define the ease or difficulty of learning, as human beings are social by nature, and it is through this interaction that the human being evolves and develops.A qualitative approach was used with the interview as a means of participant observation. The sample consisted of one hundred and twenty students in the first year of high school and the analysis of the textual material identified that affectivity is paramount in the learning process.
