Knee injury is the most common injury among soccer players, especially injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament, which is one of the ligaments in the knee and is the most susceptible to injury. Thus, the objective of the present study is to evaluate in the scientific literature the relationship between proprioceptive and neuromuscular training in the prevention of anterior cruciate ligament injuries in soccer players. This is an integrative literature review that used the SciELO and Google Scholar databases as a research source. 17 studies were obtained that portray the Physical Education professional, sensory-motor training, how to prevent possible injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament in athletes and showing proprioception as a resource to make this possible, considering that this practice benefits the performance of athletes with the development of recognizing the spatial location of the body, its position and orientation.
