Abstract

This article addressed the use of supplements by bodybuilders, highlighting their role as a complement to improve performance, recovery and aesthetic results. Supplements can provide specific nutrients that benefit muscle development, reducing fatigue and improving athletic performance. However, it is important to point out that they are not a substitute for a balanced diet and an adequate training program. The safety, efficacy and quality of supplements should be considered, seeking professional guidance and reliable information. Each individual is unique, and it is essential to tailor supplement use to individual needs. A balanced approach, prioritizing healthy eating and consistent training, is key to achieving the desired results. Supplements should be seen as an additional tool, used consciously and responsibly, in conjunction with an overall approach to health and well-being.
