Abstract

This article aims to analyze the need and limits of the right of heirs in relation to the inheritance left in digital media. With recent technological advances, we have witnessed various forms of wealth accumulation of a digital nature. However, due to the novelty of this phenomenon, there is little legal exploration in this area, which results in a series of gaps that can both help and hinder the succession of digital assets. The present study, therefore, seeks to provide a clearer understanding of the concept of digital collection and to examine the feasibility of transferring these assets to the heirs.
