The purpose of this paper is to survey the quantity of the Brazilian housing deficit, especially in the city of Porto Velho - RO; proposing improvements in the quality of architectural projects of social interest housing established by the FNHIS (National Fund for Housing of Social Interest), and will use functional constructive techniques that will guarantee security of tenure, habitability, accessibility, cultural adequacy. The project seeks to develop well-being and integrity in the local community (surroundings) For this reason, it will be proposed to create a hybrid living area (Plaza) between public and private with the aim of integrating users in particular in Bairro Floresta. The 1988 Federal Constitution provides for the right to decent housing for all Brazilian citizens. Insured and guaranteed by Law 10,257 of July 10, 2001, which regulates articles 182 and 183. The National Social Interest Housing System (SNHIS), was established byFederal Law No. 11,124 of June 16, 2005, aims to implement public policies and programs that promote access to decent and adequate housing for the low-income population income, which makes up most of the country's housing deficit.
