Abstract

: This article proposes to analyze the way that the Bill n. 1.820/2019 complements the Maria da Penha Law in a way that would guarantee a multidisciplinary service within the specialized police stations, which is not yet provided for in the law, guaranteeing women priority and privacy during the complaint procedure, being able to create a relationship of trust and respect with the professional present, analyzing verbal and non-verbal communication in a comprehensive manner, avoiding judgments in an empathetic, ethical and confidential manner. Bringing this way a better reception of these women victims of domestic and family violence, being able to avoid a possible revictimization after the complaint or even the withdrawal of the complaint itself. As well as Campos (2017) says that the protection of women against all types of violence, whether physical, sexual, moral, psychological and patrimonial, in addition to having been assured comprehensive and multidisciplinary treatment to prevent, assist and contain violence and Hirigoyen (2003) shows the need to create mechanisms to change the reality of the victim and thus overcome the after-effects left by the process of submission to these situations of violence in its various forms. A qualitative research method is used from sources consisting of printed and digital books, scientific articles and also updated legislation, in the search for better care, based on the reception of women victims of domestic and family violence.
