DEVELOPMENT OF A BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ENVIRONMENT FOR VEHICLE TRACKING IN A LOGISTICS COMPANY

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a solution to help with the problem of road transport logistics, through the use of Business Intelligence principles, specifically for the control of delivery truck operations in a company that operates in the retail and wholesale sector in Sao Luis (MA). Therefore, it is a case study in which a field research will be carried out, for the identification and characterization of the company, collecting information about the specific problem through interviews and questionnaires. The Power BI tool, version 2.109.1021.0 was used to build a solution proposal for this company. To validate it, its use was made for a period of tests, and the past scenario was compared with the present, and the advances and benefits achieved were identified.
