This article presents the development and application of the SmartLab system, implemented at CEUMA University, with the aim of modernizing and optimizing the management of academic laboratories. The central problem investigated consists of the difficulties in organizing, scheduling, and controlling the use of institutional environments and equipment, which generate conflicts, wasted time, and low operational efficiency. The study was conducted within the institutional context of CEUMA, involving students, faculty, and administrators who use the laboratories daily for teaching, research, and practical activities. The research was carried out through a case study with direct user participation in validating the system. Furthermore, quantitative analysis techniques were applied to evaluate the platform's performance and usability during the testing period. The results indicated increased efficiency in the reservation process, greater control over laboratory resources, and improved institutional organization, highlighting the system's potential to solve recurring problems in the management of educational environments. It is concluded that the Intelligent Laboratory represents a viable, scalable solution aligned with the needs of institutions seeking to improve their internal processes, offering greater transparency, agility, and reliability in the administration of their academic environments.
