This article analyzes the legal protection of rural producers in Brazilian agribusiness, focusing on the effectiveness of the rules governing rural activity and on the obstacles that interfere with their practical implementation. The study considers the economic and social relevance of agribusiness and the strategic position occupied by rural producers in the production chain. It examines constitutional and statutory instruments concerning rural property, its social function, rural credit, agrarian contracts, environmental regularization and public policies. It also addresses challenges arising from administrative bureaucracy, legal uncertainty, difficulties in accessing rural credit and the need to reconcile production with environmental protection. The methodology is qualitative, exploratory and analytical-descriptive, based on bibliographic, documentary and jurisprudential research. The analysis indicates that the Brazilian legal system provides relevant protection mechanisms, but their practical effectiveness depends on institutional capacity to implement the rules, reduce administrative barriers and coordinate economic development, environmental sustainability and legal certainty.
