This study aimed to analyze the profile of hospitalizations for neoplasms and mortality due to malignant brain tumors in the state of Paraná between 2019 and 2025, emphasizing differences between men and women. This is a descriptive, retrospective, quantitative epidemiological study based on secondary data obtained from DATASUS through the SIH/SUS and SIM systems. Hospitalizations for neoplasms and deaths due to malignant brain tumors were analyzed considering variables such as sex, year of occurrence, and absolute frequency. During the analyzed period, 597,474 hospitalizations for neoplasms were recorded, with predominance among women and a progressive increase throughout the time series. Regarding mortality due to malignant brain tumors, 3,680 deaths were registered between 2019 and 2024, with predominance among men and relative stability over the years. The findings demonstrate important differences between men and women regarding patterns of illness, use of health services, and clinical outcomes related to neoplasms.
