The professional internship is a fundamental stage in academic training, fostering the connection between theory and practice, the construction of professional identity, and the development of technical and interpersonal skills. This report presents the experience of Psychology students during their supervised internship in the General Psychopathology course, held at the Centro Cuidar Integral (CCI) Rehabilitation Clinic in Teresina, Piauí. Therapeutic groups, based on a holistic approach, were held with the chemical dependency ward and the psychiatric disorders ward. Intervention techniques included music therapy, group dynamics, games, and art therapy, focusing on cognitive, affective, and social stimulation. The conclusion is that the internship provided students with meaningful professional experience and contributed to their well-being, highlighting the relevance of the supervised internship as a training space based on the biopsychosocial model of health.
