THE RIGHTS OF AUTISTIC AND ATYPICAL PEOPLE: A LEGAL ANALYSIS OF FUNDAMENTAL GUARANTEES AND SOCIAL INCLUSION

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the rights of autistic and atypical people, focusing on fundamental guarantees and social inclusion, in accordance with the brazilian and international legal system. The main legislation that ensures these people's access to education, health, work and social assistance will be discussed, in addition to identifying the challenges faced in realizing these rights. The research adopts a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographical review of current laws, based on recent studies and practical examples, the research explores possible solutions to improve the effectiveness of existing laws and promote more equitable and effective inclusion. It is concluded that, although there are legislative advances, the social inclusion of autistic people still faces significant challenges that require continuous efforts to achieve equal opportunities.
