Abstract

The work presents how the performance of the Pharmacist Professional in the Prescription of PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) and PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) drugs, can help in the follow-up of treatment and in the quality of life of people in the LGBQTIAPN+ community. The Pharmacist plays a fundamental role in health education, fighting stigma and promoting a welcoming environment, the presence of the pharmacist ensures the continuity of treatment, and a normal life for the young people in this community.
