Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the challenges and implications of access to justice in the digital era, considering the impact of emerging technologies on the legal system to promote greater accessibility and efficiency in the legal process. To this end, a bibliographic review approach was used, involving critical analysis and synthesis of a wide range of academic sources and specialized literature related to the theme of access to justice in the digital era. The results highlighted the complexity of incorporating emerging technologies into the legal system. A detailed analysis of these challenges emphasizes the urgent need to adopt balanced and inclusive approaches to ensure greater accessibility and efficiency in the legal sphere. Digitalization offers significant opportunities to simplify legal procedures and promote transparency, but at the same time, it raises critical concerns such as cybersecurity and the possibility of exacerbating socioeconomic disparities. Thus, the study of access to justice and its issues is ongoing and does not exhaust over time. This is due to the fact that new obstacles and challenges continuously emerge from new social dynamics and structures that affect the exercise of this fundamental right, especially for the less privileged.
