Abstract

This is a bibliographic review, specifically of works, texts and articles, which discuss the direction of treatment in child clinical care, guided by psychoanalysis. Starting from the Lacanian premise that each child can occupy two different positions before the Other, the article will deal with the symptom that can be presented in them, in addition to addressing how the child is inserted in the analytical discourse.
