NURSING CARE OF VICTIM WOMEN OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: In our historical roots, patriarchal ideologies were created which determined that women should satisfy their intimate partners. In 2005, sexual acts without the victim's consent, regardless of the affective bond, began to be criminalized. However, even today, women are victims of rape by their own partnersREVIEW: Over the years laws have been enacted and resoluctions that legally penalize people who practice sexual abuse, are more rigorous When the agressor has a bond with the victim. From this, with the nursing team being the first support in the care units, it became necessary to create care protocols that guide health professionals to provide humanized care to these patients.DISCUSSION:Even though the unified health system in it’s objectives and regulations ensures that Every Citizen is equal and will be attended according to your needs, within today, nursing professionals act disrespectfully from individual beliefs rooted in patriarchy, putting the victim in distressand embarrassment.FINAL REMARKS: Health care should be personalized according to the particularity of each patient, respecting their internal pain and providing humanized assistance. The care should take place in rooms or Spaces where the patient has privacy to notify the nurses of what is happening, observing if there are signs in speech, physical traces of violence even if the patient don’t report.
