This report describes the clinical and pharmacotherapeutic experience of an adult patient using tirzepatide, detailing weight changes, reported adverse effects, and key implications regarding treatment monitoring and safety. It is a descriptive case report based on a structured clinical interview with an adult patient undergoing tirzepatide therapy. Data were collected on weight changes, anthropometric measurements, adverse effects, adherence, and proper medication use. After 13 weeks of treatment—initiated at 2.5 mg/week and subsequently adjusted to 5 mg/week—the patient experienced a weight loss of 15 kg, along with a 10 cm reduction in waist circumference and an 8 cm reduction in hip circumference. Mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and reflux were reported, primarily during the early stages of therapy, without requiring treatment discontinuation or medical intervention. The patient reported increased satiety, reduced cravings for sweets, improved well-being, and satisfaction with the results. The case demonstrates a favorable weight-loss response and mild, transient gastrointestinal adverse effects, underscoring the importance of individualized clinical and pharmacotherapeutic monitoring, guidance on safe use, and continuous oversight during tirzepatide treatment.
