This article describes a scoping review protocol designed to map scientific evidence on institutional, educational, and public policy strategies for preventing obstetric violence. The study will be conducted according to the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines. The search will be performed in PubMed, Virtual Health Library, Scientific Electronic Library Online, ScienceDirect, and Education Resources Information Center. Study selection will occur in two stages: title and abstract screening, followed by full-text assessment by two independent reviewers using the Rayyan software. Data will be extracted using a standardized instrument and analyzed qualitatively and descriptively with support from the PAGER framework. The review is expected to identify strategies for preventing obstetric violence, their implementation contexts, target populations, barriers, and facilitators. The proposed mapping may support respectful care practices, educational processes, and public policies aimed at improving the quality of obstetric care.
