This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of education professionals regarding the impacts of resuming and expanding the Educational Program on Resistance to Drugs and Violence (PROERD) in the municipality of São Mateus do Sul, Paraná. The research is characterized as applied, descriptive, and quantitative in nature, conducted via a survey of education professionals who oversaw the program's activities in 2026. The results revealed a largely positive perception of PROERD’s operations, highlighting its contribution to civic education, the prevention of drug use and violence, the development of positive behaviors, conflict reduction, and the strengthening of relationships among schools, families, and the Military Police. A strong preference for the program's continuation was also identified, particularly given the interruption that had occurred the previous year. The study concludes that the resumption and expansion of PROERD were perceived as significant for the school environment, contributing to social prevention, the promotion of a culture of peace, and the strengthening of integration between education and public security.
