Pulp regeneration using stem cells represents a promising approach in regenerative dentistry, especially for deciduous and immature permanent teeth, as it allows restoration of pulp vitality and supports root development. This study aimed to analyze the potential of stem cells in pulp regeneration, highlighting their biological mechanisms, differentiation capacity, revascularization, and clinical applications, based on articles published between 2022 and 2026. The methodology consisted of a literature review conducted in the PubMed database using specific descriptors and defined inclusion criteria, resulting in the selection of 14 studies. The results showed that dental pulp stem cells and stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth have high proliferative and regenerative capacity, promoting dentin formation and new pulp tissue. The use of biomaterials and scaffolds enhanced these effects. It is concluded that these therapies are effective and promising, although further studies are needed for protocol standardization and safe clinical application in regenerative endodontics.
