Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has promoted significant transformations in anatomical and biocellular education, emerging as a strategic tool for innovation in health education. This study aimed to analyze, through a narrative literature review of publications from 2021 to 2026, the main AI-based technological innovations applied to these fields, as well as their pedagogical, formative, and ethical impacts. The findings revealed that AI enhances active methodologies, supports personalized learning, expands three-dimensional visualization of anatomical structures, and facilitates the understanding of complex biocellular processes through simulations, digital modeling, and adaptive systems. Moreover, its integration into blended learning contributes to greater student autonomy and curricular reorganization. However, challenges related to faculty training, technological infrastructure, ethics, and equitable access were identified as determining factors for responsible implementation. It is concluded that AI holds strong transformative potential, provided it is aligned with solid pedagogical foundations and humanistic principles in health education.
