Oral health constitutes an essential pillar of general health and human well-being, reflecting the socioeconomic, educational, and cultural conditions of a population. This study analyzed the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding oral health among students of technical and vocational education institutions in the city of Nampula, including health sciences and teacher training schools. A cross-sectional, descriptive, and analytical study was conducted, using a structured questionnaire administered to 325 students. The results revealed generally positive knowledge and attitudes, but inconsistent practices, particularly in the use of dental floss and regular visits to the dentist. Statistically significant differences (p < 0.001) were observed between institutions in the frequency of brushing, use of dental floss, and behavior regarding toothache. It is concluded that there is a need for curriculum reinforcement and oral health promotion interventions in the educational context.
