Abstract

This paper aims to make a brief study of due legal process in matters of the death penalty in the legal systems of the Peruvian State under the administration of President Alberto Fujimori and the Communist Party of Peru - Shining Path, led by Abimael Guzmán, nicknamed “President Gonzalo” by activists and supporters of the movement, during the period of 1993 - when the Constitution was promulgated and the state order to be studied here was established - and 2000, with the end of the Fujimori administration. The methodology used in this study is comparative law.
