The present study aimed to analyze the efficiency and acceptance of the clinical venoscope among healthcare professionals at the Caála Municipal Hospital, located in Huambo Province, Angola, with the purpose of improving venous catheterization, reducing patient discomfort, and optimizing human resources. This is a technological study with a systematic approach, based on the Falkembach model, encompassing the phases of analysis and planning, modeling, execution, and evaluation/maintenance. The study was conducted with 37 healthcare professionals (nurses and clinical analysts) through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature review. The results showed that most participants had difficulty locating deep veins, especially professionals with less experience. It was also observed that 95% had never used auxiliary devices for venous catheterization, whereas 92.5% rated the venoscope as extremely useful for enhancing clinical practice and the quality of patient care. The evaluation indicates that the use of the venoscope can reduce errors, enable less experienced professionals, and improve hospital resources, promoting greater safety and humanization in patient care.
