This study investigated the impact of digital media on education, focusing on the perceived benefits in the learning process and student motivation. The overall objective was to analyze how these tools influence pedagogical practices and student engagement. The research was bibliographic in nature and was based on a review of articles, books, and research already published on the subject. The development addressed the use of technologies such as gamification, virtual reality, and active methodologies, evidencing their positive impact on student participation, personalized teaching, and interaction between students and teachers. The research also highlighted challenges, such as the lack of adequate training for educators and insufficient technological infrastructure in many schools, which can limit the effectiveness of these tools. The final considerations emphasized that, despite the advances, the successful implementation of digital media depends on ongoing teacher training and investment in infrastructure. Continued research is essential to assess the impact of technologies on student academic performance. The research contributed to understanding the positive impact of digital media on education, but points to the need for additional studies to strengthen the application of these tools in the school environment.
