The present work presents a proposal of activities on the discipline of mathematics that helps in the students' learning process through resources made of recyclable material. Through a methodology focused on the teaching of mathematics, experiments were carried out related to the contents taught in the classroom with the Elementary School II classes of the Joaquim Gomes de Sousa Teaching Center, a state school located in the city of São Luís in the state of Maranhão. A pedagogical proposal of work in the classroom was presented with concrete materials of easy access and low cost in order to facilitate understanding, making it more dynamic in the classroom. Tangram experiments, Tower of Hanoi and Rockets with pet bottles were worked, according to what guides the National Common Curricular Base and according to the new trends in Mathematics Education, which dictate that mathematics must be worked in a dynamic and innovative way.
