Abstract

Teacher training is one of the fundamental pillars for implementing inclusive pedagogical practices in diverse educational spaces. This article addresses the importance of this ongoing training, highlighting the role of educators in building a school environment that respects and values differences. With the advancement of public inclusion policies, educators become key players in ensuring the effectiveness of these policies. Through a literature review, this study analyzes the skills needed for teachers to act in an inclusive manner, the methodologies that favor the learning of all students, and the challenges faced by educators. In addition, the results of training programs that aim to train teachers to deal with diversity, promoting more equitable and accessible education, are discussed. The article also proposes intervention strategies and reflects on the role of teachers in promoting educational inclusion as a fundamental right.
