ESTATÍSTICAS DE SOBREVIDA EM PACIENTES PÓS-PARADA CARDIORRESPIRATÓRIA

Abstract

This study is a bibliographical research with the objective of analyzing the survival rates in patients who suffer cardiopulmonary arrest (CPA) and identifying actions that improve the survival prognosis in cardiorespiratory events. According to studies, the morbidity and mortality statistics involving this cardiovascular emergency are high and have proved to be almost unchanged over the years. Due to this, the extra and in-hospital CPA cases need complex analyses, considering that each scenario has different conditions. In the context of this emergency, it is noted that time is an extremely important factor. It is relevant to point out that patient survival depends on the application of supports and protocols, structured from the combination of algorithms that follow a logical sequencing with conducts that aim to increase the chance of reversibility of this event. From this perspective, this research, which consists of an integrative review, gathers the results obtained about the same subject, synthesizing and analyzing information in order to develop a broader explanation of the specific topic.
