This paper aims to analyze the possibility of filing consumer claims above forty minimum wages in the Special Civil Courts. Based on literature review and doctrinal analysis, it seeks to understand the compatibility of this proposal with the guiding principles of the Special Courts and the Consumer Protection Code. It is argued that relaxing the monetary threshold could improve access to justice and enforce consumer rights, provided simplicity and promptness are maintained.
