Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impacts that the technological revolution has caused on human life. The growing era of digitalization has invaded many individuals, every human action linked to the internet must reflect in Law, what is called digital law. With this evolution it is possible to notice a new branch in Criminal Law, virtual crimes. The objective of this research is to analyze all crimes that occur in the virtual environment and civil and criminal liability, as well as an analysis of current legislation for virtual crimes, such as the Carolina Dieckmann law, which introduced several articles in the Penal Code to penalize such crimes. crimes. The research uses the qualitative method, such as bibliographic procedures, doctrines, articles, dissertations and websites. Therefore, it is important to highlight that the virtual world has rules, delinquents who commit virtual crimes are punished by the Penal Code, the Carolina Dieckmann law and the Civil Code.
