Abstract

The demand for aesthetic procedures grows progressively due to the fact that smiles and faces play an important role in people's lives and increase an individual's self-esteem. In order to improve their quality of life and confidence, people look for aesthetic procedures that aim to improve their appearance, since the image is the individual's business card. A non-invasive and reversible treatment option to be offered to patients seeking aesthetic compensation is filling with hyaluronic acid (HA). This present clinical report aims to describe the filling of the lower third of the face using 4 syringes of hyaluronic acid – Restylane Lyft to compensate for the patient's convex profile and highlight her facial features using an adaptation of the oval QAM technique, which is a padding for young women, without sagging and with good tissue coverage. The result was satisfactory, with changes in facial contour and profile, volumetric correction and improvement in facial harmony.
