Abstract

This work aims to present the legal functioning of software registrations in Brazil, providing a brief presentation on software and copyright laws, demonstrating how scientific and technological development occurs regarding information about software, and to Finally, verify the correlation of intellectual property with existing software registrations in the country. The methodology adopted consists of a literature review, seeking greater familiarity with the importance of carrying out software registration. During the development of this project, the vision of Brazilian authors was demonstrated on the possibility that software registration has an action directly related to the use of industrial property and copyright, in addition to seeking a better understanding of the laws that govern both the computer program, as well as the software itself, resulting in the evolution of software, which promoted enormous global demand. Therefore, it was possible to stimulate research locally, the emergence of more innovative products, processes and, finally, the reduction of journeys in the conduct of production and autonomy.
