Abstract

This article addresses the impact of nursing interventions on the prevention of postoperative complications in gynecological surgeries. Gynecological surgery is an invasive procedure that presents risks of complications in the postoperative period, affecting the recovery and quality of life of patients. In this context, nursing intervention plays a crucial role in promoting adequate care, constant monitoring and the implementation of preventive strategies. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study seeks to analyze how nursing interventions can positively influence the prevention of complications after gynecological surgeries. Several aspects will be explored, such as the reduction of postoperative infections, improvement in wound healing, minimization of urinary and intestinal complications, pain management and promotion of early mobilization. The literature review methodology will be used to collect and analyze relevant scientific evidence on the topic. Clinical studies, systematic reviews and scientific articles that address specific nursing interventions and their impact on postoperative complications in gynecological surgeries will be considered. The expected results include the identification and analysis of the most effective nursing interventions in preventing postoperative complications in gynecological surgeries, as well as a more comprehensive understanding of the fundamental role of the nursing team in perioperative care. This study aims to contribute to the improvement of clinical practice, providing evidence to support nursing intervention decisions that can optimize postoperative results and the experience of patients undergoing gynecological surgeries. In addition, it highlights the importance of collaborative work among health professionals to promote a holistic and integrated approach to surgical care.
