Abstract

This article is about how hybrid education went in the context of APAE in Ourilândia do Norte, State of Pará, from March 2020 to August 2021, when face-to-face classes were suspended, due to the pandemic of the invitation. 19. The research was carried out from a qualitative approach, involving field research, documents and literature review. For data collection, a questionnaire with open-ended questions was used, to find out which tools related to digital information and communication technology were used by teachers, how they conducted the pedagogical practice in this period (their difficulties, positive and negative points of the hybrid teaching in their experience). The researched universe had fifty percent of the staff of teachers who work in special education, taught by the referenced institution, totaling five participants. From the data collected, it was observed that blended learning was a novelty for teachers and that they had difficulties to prepare and teach classes, due to the lack of practice to operate the available technological tools, little interaction of students and their families in classes, due to the precarious access to cell phones and the internet, the main resources used to teach online classes.
