Corporate governance is defined as a system composed of processes, conducts and policies, in which a company is managed, strictly complying with the principles of transparency, equity, accountability and corporate responsibility, aiming at an ecosystem in which transparency prevails, mainly and ethics, serving managers, employees, suppliers, investors, public entities and the entire community that has some interest in the actions of a company, including the market itself. however, support for the basic and fundamental needs of the human being has grown in recent years, highlighting its importance in society, the considerable increase in social organizations and the important role they have been playing, which is arousing the interest of many managers in the improvement of their organizational structure, in order to improve its performance, for this it is crucial that governance practices are part of the management of entities belonging to the third sector, comprising all entities under private law, voluntary and that do not aim to obtain profit, encouraging the activities of defense and promotion of fundamental rights or providing services of public interest. the present work demonstrates the importance of Corporate Governance in the Administration of these Organizations, through bibliographic research.
