Poland's Syndrome is characterized, by the absence of the pectoralis major muscle and affects, mainly, males and the right hemithorax. Poland's Syndrome may be associated with other rare pathologies, and, without previous reports, with the azygos vein lobe. The azygos lobe is a rare anatômical variation of the upper lobe of the right lung and can be confused with lung abscesses or associated with more serious pathologies, such as primary lung câncer and pleomorphic carcinoma of the azygos lobe. The aim of the study was to report a case of a patient with Poland’s Syndrome associated with the presence of na Azygos vein lobe. The case reported is a patient, dizygotic twin of a female individual who does not have the pathologies addressed, who in adolescence was diagnosed with agenesis of the pectoralis major muscle and who, until this work, was not submitted to reconstructive surgical treatments. The patient had a few minor changes in the syndrome, although He had Azygos vein lobe, another rare association. This association hás not been licensed in the literature and must be studied and investigated in its carriers. Therefore, it isconsidered that a Poland’s Syndrome is a condition that hás different classes and affects motor functions, depending on the degree of involvement, body aesthetics and self-esteem. The surgical correction is generally well succeeded and should be more accessible IF the knowledge on the subject were disseminated in the medical community and IF the procedures were covered by the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
