The quality of life at work has become the subject of studies with great repercussions within organizations and academic spaces in recent years. This fact made organizations start to pay more attention to their most precious asset, human capital. The QWL then emerges as a management strategy that seeks to meet the collective and individual needs of workers. This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of military police officers who are members of the 8th Independent Company of Military Police (8th CIPM), in relation to the existence of indicators of quality of life at work. For this purpose, the QWL model proposed by Richard Walton (1973) was used, which is composed of eight categories and is considered by many authors as one of the best models to measure QWL because it is one of the most complete. This study had the participation of 109 police officers belonging to this Military Police unit. In the analysis of the results, it can be seen that, in general, the quality of life at work of the interviewed police officers showed a level of dissatisfaction. In view of this, a high level of dissatisfaction can be identified in relation to the opportunity for professional advancement, working conditions and fair and adequate compensation.
