Abstract

The implementation of effective public policies in the healthcare sector remains a challenge for municipal management. Although it is widely known that promoting public health is the responsibility of the State and society as a whole, it is important to have strict oversight to ensure that effective programs are implemented to ensure citizens can enjoy a healthy life. With this goal in mind, a documentary research was conducted to investigate the programs developed in the city of Trindade-GO and their impacts on the local population. The research found that the municipality under study is in compliance with legal requirements to provide public healthcare services and develops actions to promote human dignity. In recent years, Trindade's municipal public management has implemented effective measures in the healthcare sector, resulting in significant improvement in the quality of life for residents.
