THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CRIME SCENE IN THE FORENSIC INVESTIGATION – LITERATURE REVIEW

This article searched in viable databases the literature that covers the subject studied. And then, with the data found, he analyzed the relevance of preserving the crime scene for the forensic investigation. For purposes of what is the crime scene within forensic science, to understand the importance of its preservation and to show its usefulness within the investigation of criminal suspects and to bring about the chosen topic through a review. The search for data, a search for scientific articles was conducted in the following databases: PubMed and Periodic CAPES, using the descriptors, with studies published from 2000 to February 2023 being reviewed. The preservation of the crime scene provides investigators with a better result of their findings at the scene, promoting a better response when they are analyzed for the solution of the crime. In addition to being one of the most important parts of criminal expertise, it is intricately linked to other areas that, when they fit together, form the perfect means for solving catastrophes or attempts.
