Abstract

Recent attacks on schools in Brazil, the increase in violence and bullying practices, reflections on the underworld of social networks and uncontrolled digital games, the lack of more effective security policies in educational institutions, fear and traumas are some of the thematic aspects that have provoked a set of research and actions by socialization agencies aimed at seeking answers and strategies for preventing and combating the insertion of these actions in school spaces. With the contribution of contemporary and classic theoretical references, and the objective of presenting a reflection that can contribute to discussions on the field, this article articulates the intersection between the universe of education and that of public security, aiming, in this context, at mechanisms to the search for solutions. Bullying and the exacerbated and uncontrolled use of digital games and interactive networks can be the focus of investigation. This scientific narrative also presents the important role of the Military Police in promoting combat actions.
