UNDERSTANDING THE GOMPERTZ MODEL AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The aim of this article is to presente a sttudy on the Gompertz Mathematical Model and its applicability. To ilustrate the applicability of the model, the study of the size of Sphyrna lewini sharks species was chosen, Where an analysis of the relationship between length and time of these animals will be made. The data used in this article were obtained from the literature. The Gompertz Mathematical Model was used for the analysis of the relationship between the lenght and time of Sphyrna lewini sharks. The Maple software was used for the graph plotting.
