This case study aimed to show the viability of a franchising project in the car wash segment in Fortaleza-CE. The reason for choosing this theme was due to the constant growth in the number of vehicles within this municipality aligned with the growth of franchising. This is currently one of the most widely used distribution channels for companies wishing to start and standardize the quality of their products and services. This has led to the franchising system attracting more enterprising entrepreneurs, called franchisees, to earn without taking too much risk, because when starting a business with a brand already consolidated by consumers, the franchise system offers a way safer entrepreneur, with guarantees of return on invested capital. Accordingly, the study used five financial mathematics tools to analyze two franchising companies in the dry-cleaning segment of the car wash segment and then compared them with the investment fund rate of a European bank: BNP Paribas Inflation FI RF. For this, the decisive criterion of choice was the percentage of the rate of return of each investment analyzed.
