This work aims to create a hero figure in the photo and their myths in society. To do this, first, was made exploratory research to know the definitions and types of heroes by authors who have devoted themselves more intensely and deepened in the study on the subject in question: Feijoo (1984), Joseph Campbell (1990), Sal Randazzo (1997). After understanding what a hero within society is, has been identified as they fall: traditional hero, rebel hero and anti-hero. To better understand what each hero is examined in practice photographs. Besides the study of the mythical figure of the hero was also possible to observe the strong influence that photography plays. The hero himself is a persuasive element directly. Capturing photographs give to get the desired image. All this to show that the figure of the hero is part of day-to-day, as well as photography uses elements, characters, figures, and contexts that facilitate the communication process reaching your goals and persuading people.
